Below is a list of commonly asked questions. Click on the

| 1.
What are the requirements for qualification and/or re-qualification?

- Please check the
CTQP Manual for a full
explanation of each qualification's requirements.
- Before submitting any non-exam requirements, please check the Instructions to Submit for additional information.
- Be aware that many qualifications require more than just an exam; often other certifications must be proven (i.e. nuclear gauge, ACI certificates).

| 2.
Do I have to have a Florida Driver License/TIN number? |
- CTQP now accepts driver licenses from all
states. However, in order for your information to be correctly
processed, you must use your FULL driver license number.
- TIN numbers (the driver license number without the last four digits) are no longer accepted.
- If you are from outside the United States, please go to Obtaining your Florida Driver License

| 3.
What if I believe I have met all of the requirements for a qualification and have not yet received a certificate? |
- CTQP does not mail certificates. They may be retrieved from the Certificate Printing link on the homepage, entering your full driver
license number with a capital letter (if applicable), and
selecting the appropriate certificate from the drop-down box.
- If no certificate is available in the area you think it should be issued, check your Training History by
entering your driver license number with a capital letter (if
applicable). The ‘Missing Qualification Requirements' section may
offer an explanation of missed requirements.

How do I know which exam(s) I must take for a specific qualification or job? |
- The CTQP Manual has information
about qualification requirements.
- The Qualifications Necessary for a Job page will explain what each qualification
does.

| 5.
Do I have to take the course, or can I challenge the exam? |
- Trainees are not required to take a
course if they do not feel they need the review.
- Please remember, however, that several qualifications require a written exam AND a proficiency exam (i.e. Asphalt Paving Level I exam AND Asphalt Paving Level I Proficiency exam; Pile Driving Module A AND Pile Driving Module B). Written Exam Only sessions will NOT offer
these proficiencies, so be aware of the requirements for the
qualification you are seeking, and also what exam session you are
registering for.

Are there any study manuals or preparation materials for CTQP exams? |
- Yes. The Course Preparation Materials page will lead you to some computer based training for selected classes and/or exams, as well as study manuals available in .pdf format available for most exams.

I am having trouble downloading/viewing the computer-based training study guides on your Web site. Any suggestions? |

How do I register for classes/exams? |
- Please visit the CTQP Course Schedule to learn when and where courses and exams are being
held.

provider holding the course/exam to register.

Are any CTQP exams administered in Spanish? |

At this time, all CTQP exams are printed
only in English. Please contact CTQP for more information at
